I have changed the Comments selection on my Blog. I am forced to filter them due to some annoying comments left by spammers from China! These comments were nothing but a large paragraph of porn links, of course in CHINESE! I hope no one was affected by these other than myself who have spent WAY too much time DELETING them ONE BY ONE! What a Pain! I hope these creeps believe in Karma....what goes around, comes around!!!

It's Alive!

Here is a snapshot of the operating room during my back surgery last week!

I'm not quite my self just yet, but once the Doc uses the staple-remover on me I'll be finishing up some things soon I'm sure!

My new doll is a work in progress. To celebrate the Mardi Gras, here is Marie Laveau, The Voodoo Queen of New Orleans.
She will be a complete doll standing about 20 inches tall, not the Make-do pictured here. I hope to finish her soon! Thanks for stopping by!

I've been playing with polymer clay to create these fun voodoo trinkets! Now I need to make a doll to hang them on!!! This was fun!

A Valentine Ghost. She is a small Make-do on a crystal pedestal. She was a once a beautiful "Face" in the Silent films!..... "You see, this is my life. It always will be! This is an Elf ghost...She showed up today. She's a pretty little thing...I don't know what her story is....But Elves Do NOT Live Forever.....

When I began this little lady, I had a request for a special ornie who might be a sister to a past creation "Dreadful Diva Diane". I was so excited to be honored with such a request! I hadn't quite come up with her name and so anxious to show her to my customer I posted her here on my blog. Well, I am proud to announce her name was chosen by my new Dear friend Carole...The ornie is now known as "ELFvira" IS that not just PERFECT! I wish I had thought of it!....

My new Skelly Ornie...."RED" Skellyton!

Red Skeleton has always been a favorite of mine. He was such a wonderful comedian. He was an Artist, a published
composer and a kind and gracious man. He was born in Vincennes Indiana, and so was I!
From time to time he would return to his hometown and I was lucky enough to meet him.

I plan to create some little skelly ornaments inspired by his MANY funny characters he was so well-known and loved for through the years.

Little Miss Muffett
Sat On her Tuffett
Eating her Curds and Whey

Along came a Spider
That decided to BITE her
Poor Miss Muffet DIED
The Next Day!

She still holds on
To her Curds and Whey
But on a Leash beside her
She Keeps THAT Black Spider
SO That He Can NEVER
RUN AWAY!

She was sold and is on her way to her new home.
