We are at the gravesite of our two neighbor friends that were lost in a house-fire. Susie was 13 and Ralphie was 9. It might seem to be a strange background for a picture.I think we were trying to keep them in our lives. We took other pictures there too.It didn't seem strange at the time. They were laid to rest across the street from our house, but they are forever in our hearts.
rest in peace

SkellytonArt Original Designs are One Of A Kind Art Dolls never to be reproduced.I list them as primitive because I am not a seamstress. I sew only to have little faces to paint. My sewing abilities are small. You will find flaws, hence primitive best describes my dolls.
I was educated in Commercial Art. I have so much fun making Halloween Art dolls. Occasionally I make a "normal" one, but I try to stay away from normal as much as possible! I grew up "living" across from a cemetery. Perhaps this is why I love scary... anything!

When I was a kid this man used to scare me every Friday night! He hosted a television show from Indianapolis "Friday Night Horror Show". We never missed it! He would come out of his coffin with his fiendish, evil laugh. He had a pet spider named George. Ok, I know it was fake. But he was so scary, especially when we could look out our window and see the graveyard across the street! Yes, the things Nightmares are made of! Bwaahahahah! Thanks Sammy ! Without you,I wouldn't be what I am today....
